Ichiban Painting July raffle

Ultramarine StormEagle *ShowCase No16*

Very big kit to paint, pretty easy and trouble free to build so i would say overall a great model!

Grey Knights Brother Captain *ShowCase No15*

So here we have a Grey Knight Brother Captain, Its painted using the GW paint scheme but with an Ichiban Painting twist. It was a fun project that i did for me. I haven’t done OLS (Object source lighting) in a long time. Of course i do use zenithal color layering but i normally don’t do OSL on power weapons and eyes.  This one is for sale on Ebay right about now 🙂

Games workshop’s price increase promotion

This isn’t a usual post for me as I normally try to keep the blog/website only for showcases and tutorial but after talking with my GW supplier I did think it would be a good opportunity to share with you a little promotion! Or special if you would like!

My Gw supplier told me he would hold the old GW prices untile Friday and that if I knew anyone willing to order GW stuff he would hold the old prices till Friday even for the preorder stuff. The prices that he offers are the UK prices -5% to 10% depending on the model and he offers international shipping. For those of you that are from outside the UK (and even Uk resident) it gives you a great opportunity to grab good deals on GW stuff. Even after the price hike he will still offer those kina of rebates but on the new updated prices.

So if you are interested into getting in contact with him just send me an email and I will get you his contact information.

Cheers

Ultramarine Landraider redeemer *ShowCase No13*

Sorry it took me a little longer to update the website I’ve been pretty busy. So here is an Ultramarine Landraider redeemer part of the big ultramarine commission I’m working on ATM. The client asked me do do a lot of weathering on this guy and i did. If you check the previous post or on the youtube channel you’ll be able to find all the tutorial on the technique I’ve used to achieve this look.

Enjoy

Marneus Calgar LandRaider *ShowCase No11*

So here the big bad boy is here! Marneus Calgar personal pimped out ride! This was made for one of my good old client. And I surly didn’t want to disappoint him so I went a bit over board with this project. Feedback on it are great got couple of ppl that told me that it was better than the Heavy metal one. But that’s really for you to judge!

So here it is! we have pics and a video showcase if you care to watch it

Parts that were used for this landraider were the normal landraider kit, scibor miniature parts, FW doors and brass ultramarine logos.

Tech Marine *ShowCase No10*

So here we have a little side project iv been working on. I’m lucky this week I didn’t have all the parts i needed to finish the work on my current commissions so while waiting for the parts I decided to do this guy up! Actually this was my first Tech Marine and it was a total blast! They are such a cool mini to paint! I loved it and I’m also pretty happy with the results! Hope you like it!

The colors I have used for this model are from Vallejo in the Game Colors and Modelair range.

Ive use also H&S Infinity Airbrush for the base color and some details.

Whirlwind/Razorback *ShowCase No9*
